Are skincare and toothpaste regulated like makeup?
In the EU and UK, yes. They are cosmetic products, so the same responsible person, notification, safety file and labeling rules apply.
Can we sell beauty devices through ExpandNow?
Yes. Devices need their own conformity marking and documents, and ExpandNow can sell them alongside your cosmetics in the same relationship. Product types are confirmed during scoping.
Can you review our labels and claims?
Yes. We review formulas, labels and claims against EU and UK rules, including fragrance allergens, and flag anything that needs to change before launch.
What about products with medical or antibacterial claims?
These can fall under different rules from cosmetics. We flag them early for a closer review, and confirm during scoping whether we can sell them.
Does ExpandNow test products or certify SPF?
No. Testing and certification stay with you and your testing bodies.
