Questions buyers ask.
Do we need UKCA marking for Great Britain?
For most electrical and radio products, Great Britain accepts either UKCA or CE marking, so one marking can cover both markets. Check the rules for your product type.
Who is the responsible operator in the EU?
Products sold in the EU need a responsible operator based there, named on the product and in the listing. If you don’t have one, we can act as your Authorized Representative in the EU and UK.
Who handles electrical waste and battery registrations?
You hold producer registrations for electrical waste, batteries and packaging in each market. We check they’re in place before launch.
Can we sell refurbished devices?
Yes. ExpandNow sells through refurbished marketplaces such as Back Market and Refurbed. Products and markets are confirmed during scoping.
Does ExpandNow test or certify devices?
No. Testing and certification stay with you and your testing bodies.
